Mrs. Braida

Welcome to my personal page on our class blog! I am so excited that you decided to stop by! On this page you will get the opportunity to learn a little bit more about me.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, with both reading and language arts endorsements, from Central College in Pella, Iowa. Before graduating from Central, I attended the University of Iowa for 3 years. GO HAWKS! Currently, I am in my fourth year of teaching and it has been a wonderful adventure! I used to teach fourth grade at Van Allen Elementary and loved every minute of it! This year I decided to take on a new challenge....Middle School!! I now teach sixth grade social studies and am having an awesome year! I am so fortunate to have the chance to work with so many wonderful teachers and young people!

When I'm not at school, I'm usually at home with my family. I live in Knoxville with my husband Michael. We have three boys, Dominic, Christian, and Trey. Dominic is in fifth grade, Christian is almost 5, and Trey is 18 months.
